Introduction

Their delicious empanadas and other artisanal products are made in the country’s first inclusive kitchen for people with disabilities. It is a space adapted to enhance the performance of young people with various diagnoses (hearing impairment, mild intellectual disability, Down syndrome, and autism).

“There are many prejudices and barriers to break. Anyone can risk getting cut or burned in a kitchen. Many entrepreneurs think that hiring people with disabilities will increase these risks, but in 7 years we have already proven that this is not the case.”
