At the Wiese Foundation we are committed to building a country with better citizens. Hence, we have different programs and initiatives through which we seek to favor education in the country, promote research and culture, among others.

Regarding the improvement of  education, we created the Educational Quality program through which, among many actions, we provide educational resources that help teachers and parents in their day to day activities; in order to contribute to improving the education and teaching process for students.

Below, we share the educational resources that we offer.

Strengthening Socioemotional Skills

Together with the Ministry of Education we launched a series of videos in which real situations of teachers and directors of educational centers are presented in order that, based on these, they may express the emotions that these situations generate in them and propose concrete alternatives to be able to handle them.

Recently, the fourth season of Strengthening Socioemotional Skills  was released, designed in conjunction with MINEDU (Ministry of Education), wherein topics such as reflection, emotional accompaniment, coaching, the use of expressive arts and play are addressed. Seeking to contribute to the strengthening of the socioemotional skills of teachers, considering their personal and professional development, in order to provide support and emotional accompaniment to their students.

Families as Safe Environments

The goal of the Wiese Foundation is to help better citizens to shape the Peru of the future. In this context, the role of the family is crucial. Hence, we have the series “Families as Safe Environments” made up of three seasons of 14, 12 and 8 videos respectively.

In the last season, where the context is the return to in-person classes, we address topics such as the safe return to the classroom, the role of the family to ensure that this return is successful and what are the challenges of post-pandemic learning, among other topics.

Educational Dialogs

Another educational resource available on the Wiese Foundation website is the series “Educational Dialogs”, through which the dialog on the different trends, positions and theories around how to achieve a quality and equitable education is presented and opened.

The Educational Dialogs series has four seasons. The first one addressed critical thinking, reasoning and creativity, and featured videos that addressed this topic in relation to communicative competency, historical competency, citizen competencies and geographical competencies, among others.

The second season focused on emotions, climate and learning. The third one, addressed the topic of “Education and adolescents: a view based on the potentialities”, and the last season focused on the challenges of remote education in Peru.
