With the Pitch sessions, the first stage of the Entrepreneurial Fund ended. There were 112 applications that responded to the Drive process, leaving 22 semifinalists. They went on to the Pitch sessions on April 2 and 3, 2019, with an evaluation committee, specialized in the different sectors of the Peruvian market.

Sandra Araujo
Innovate Peru Specialist responsible for the Development Unit, with more than 6 years of experience in CSR projects at Fundación Romero-Incubadora PQS and more than 14 years of experience working in the Tourism sector at CENFOTUR and PROMPERU.
Julio Ayca
Investment Officer from Grassroots Business Fund. He has more than 13 years of experience evaluating and investing in private companies (7 in Nicaragua, in companies at the expansion stage; 6+ in Latin America in medium-sized companies with social impact).
Alejandro Afuso
Adviser to the Presidency of CONCYTEC. With more than 12 years leading Innovation and Production initiatives in Peru (through the development of Innovate Perú/FONDECYT programs). In addition, he has led State programs for poverty reduction (He was Chief Manager in charge of FONCODES – Cooperation Fund for Social Development).

General Manager of Industria AIB. He has more than 14 years leading and consolidating one of the main Peruvian companies in the agribusiness / agro-export sector.

Executive Director of CEAM. She has more than 10 years of experience leading CEAM and handling great insights into the fashion world in Peru.
Marizoila Fontana
Director of the Hotel and Tourism Administration career at UPC. With more than 15 years of experience leading the hotel administration and tourism programs in two of the main universities in Peru specialized in this sector (UPC and USIL). In addition, she has worked for more than 3 years with social companies and NGOs on issues of female empowerment.
Jhonny Cabellos
Lending Officer for South America at Shared Interest. He has more than 12 years of experience in financial analysis (investment banking, financial control and management in financial entities) including 4 years looking into impact investment in the Region.
Benjamin Castañeda
Founder of Medical Innovation Technology, Coordinator of Biomedical Engineering at PUCP. He has more than 6 years of experience in technological endeavors in the health sector and more than 10 years of experience in research in electronic and biomedical engineering.
