• These companies were chosen from 112 initiatives and will be in charge of NESsT, an organization allied to the Wiese Foundation, with more than 20 years of experience in impact investing.
Lima, February 10, 2020. Four sustainable, time-effective and socially impactable ventures will be financed with 150 thousand soles each by the Entrepreneurship Fund, a program created by the Wiese Foundation to promote initiatives that contribute to solve relevant social problem in the country.
The companies Llama Pack, Empanacombi, Pixed and Estrafalario will also receive specialized advice and accompaniment for two years so that they can fully develop and invest in the best way the contribution of 150 thousand soles awarded by the Wiese Foundation. The aforementioned social enterprises are part of the First Portfolio of the Entrepreneur fund, which will be managed by NESsT, an organization with extensive experience in impact investment at the global and local level.
The general manager of the Wiese Foundation, Ingrid Claudet, stressed the importance of each of the selected companies, also reported that, at the convocation and selection stage that concludes after one year with the presentation of the first portfolio of the Entrepreneur Fund, more than 100 proposals presented from different regions of Peru participated.
LLAMA PACK
The Llama Pack entrepreneurship seeks the participation of the commoners of the Sacred Valley of the Incas (Cusco) in local tourism, by the use of llamas as load animals on the rides offered by the travel agencies. This proposal

It is an urban fashion brand, offering apparel and accessories; it has incorporated women from the criminal Annex of Chorrillos into its production chain, offering them a decent job and training the adolescent mothers of INABIF. It also seeks to extend the shelf life and uses of the garments it manufactures, making versatile designs, recycling and/or using organic fabrics.
